Long week

Lots of thing have been going on here, not all of them good, some of them down right awful, but I don't want to drag everyone down with the details. Instead, I', just gonna show you some pictures. Nathan has been doing a great job acclimating to sweet taters and peas. He has some stinky poo though. Today he had a little banana. He is now regularly rolling from back to tummy, and tummy to back. It's just a matter of time before he starts sitting up on his own and crawling! I look back at pictures and it's just crazy how fast time has flown by....

Nathan and Tater chillin' on the bed. They were closer but Nathan touched Tater's paw and Tater freaked a little.

Nathan sitting up all by himself.

Nathan taking a bath. He just moved from the infant sink tub to the rubber duckie tub. Stupid tub deflates so we have to blow it up every night.

Nathan rocking his Swedish onsie.

He has a special turkey day outfit. Hopefully it still fits on Thursday. He is about 21 pounds now and wearing 9 month stuff. Crazy huge kid.

Nathan's First Meal

So the little man has been especially hungry the last week so we decided to go ahead and start solid food.  I made him some sweet potatoes thinned with boob juice.  He's not quite sure what he's supposed to do with it but he ate a good sized portion.  Next up, pictures of his poop!  Just kidding.

Not gonna happen!

I was going to try and post every day for the month of November, but as you can tell, that has not happened.  Bummer.

We had a good weekend with camel (mom) here.  It just sucks how fast it flies by.  Today he took a really long nap by himself.  That doesn't happen very often!  Then he took a long nap with me.  That was nice.  I was tired.  He used to sleep until 8:30 on the weekends but since the time change he is awake at 7.  I guess this is how life is gonna be for a while.  We busted out the baby bjorn and took a tour of Target.  He seemed to really like it.  He got excited seeing all the people.  He kicked and screamed.  I thought the screaming was funny, but I doubt everyone there agreed with me!  They will get over it.

The new sitter seems to be going really well.  He is playing with the 4 month old there.  He has a swing there that he really likes.  I like it too but we aren't going to get one.  It only works up to 25 pounds and he is almost there.  Luckily he has slowed down on the growing.  I made his first food today. We are saving it for Turkey day.  He's going to have sweet potatoes.  Mom and I bought the potato at the Farmer's Market.  I hope he likes it.
